Privacy Policy

Cuetone Media ("Cuetone", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it. It applies to cuetone.co.nz and any enquiry you send us through the site.

What we collect

When you contact us by email or through a form on this site, we collect the details you choose to give us: typically your name, email address, and anything you tell us about your project. We use this only to respond to you and to discuss working together.

Like most websites, we also collect limited, anonymised usage data (such as pages visited and rough location by country) through privacy-respecting analytics. This helps us understand how the site is used and improve it. It does not identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to reply to enquiries, prepare quotes and proposals, deliver work we have agreed, and keep in touch about your project. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that help us run the site and our business (for example our email and hosting providers), who are bound to keep it secure.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to make it work and to measure usage anonymously. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then behave differently.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. If you would like us to remove your details sooner, just ask.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will respond as required by law.
